04 — Sourcing Process

How we source.

A systematic approach to sourcing that prioritises quality, compliance, and reliability — every step documented and auditable.

1
Requirement Analysis
We work with you to understand your specific material requirements, quality standards, and volume needs.
2
Supplier Qualification
Candidate suppliers from our verified partner network are run through the qualification process — onboarding diligence, certification verification, and chain-of-custody setup — before they enter your shipment plan.
3
Quality Verification
Samples are tested and verified against your specifications before any commitment is made.
4
Compliance Review
We coordinate documentation against regulatory requirements in your target markets — alongside licensed partners where filings are required.
5
Logistics Coordination
We coordinate shipping, customs entry, and final delivery — working with licensed brokerage partners to move materials safely and on schedule.
05 — Supplier Qualification

How we qualify the suppliers behind your shipments.

Before we move material from a supplier, we work through a structured qualification process — documented at each step so your QA team can verify the chain rather than take our word for it.

01

Supplier onboarding diligence

Identity and business-registration confirmation, beneficial-ownership disclosure, and sanctions screening run through third-party providers against current OFAC, UK HMT, and EU consolidated lists. Enhanced due diligence (EDD) can be coordinated through an accredited compliance partner where your contract or banking relationship requires it.

02

COA document review

Certificate of Analysis collected for every lot and verified for completeness and conformance against your approved spec — identity, potency, heavy metals, microbial limits, pesticide residues. The underlying testing is performed by the supplier's lab or by an accredited third-party partner; our role is the document review and chain-of-custody.

03

GMP, organic, Halal, Kosher, Fair Trade & ISO verification

Certifications cross-checked against the issuing bodies — not accepted at face value. We hold scope, expiry, and audit-report records so your QA team can see what each certification actually covers, plus access to organic and fair-trade routed suppliers where claims are part of your product positioning.

04

Third-party lab testing

Independent verification through accredited testing partners (ISO/IEC 17025) where the lot risk profile warrants it — identity, adulterant screening, contaminant panels, or stability work as needed. Redcliff coordinates the testing and routes the report; the lab is the accountable party for the data.

05

Chain-of-custody controls

Documented hand-offs across the route — origin to warehouse to dispatch — retained per the lot-level traceability spec so any record can be produced on request without recreating from memory.
