What cookies are.
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the operators of the site.
In addition to cookies, this policy covers similar technologies including local storage, session storage, and JavaScript-based tags. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" for simplicity.
What cookies we use.
We use only the cookies necessary to operate the Site, protect against abuse, and provide the features you explicitly request. We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking. We do not use third-party analytics cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function. The Site will not work properly without them, and they cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| csrf-token | Redcliff (first-party) | Issued when you visit pages with a form. Used to verify that form submissions originate from the Site, preventing cross-site request forgery attacks. | Session (cleared when you close the browser) |
| Next.js framework cookies (varied names) | Redcliff (first-party) | Used by the Next.js framework that powers the Site to maintain routing state and serve the correct page locale or build version. | Session to short-lived |
Security cookies (third-party)
These cookies are set by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which we use to prevent automated abuse of the Site's contact, quote, sample, and tracking-request forms. They allow Google to distinguish humans from automated bots based on technical and behavioural signals.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| Various (set by google.com / gstatic.com) | Google reCAPTCHA | Risk assessment for form submissions to prevent automated abuse. See Google's documentation for the specific cookies set. | Varies per Google's policy (typically up to 6 months) |
For more information about Google's use of cookies, see Google's cookies overview and Google's Privacy Policy.
Analytics cookies
We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add web-analytics or similar measurement tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent before placing such cookies.
Advertising / marketing cookies
We do not use advertising, retargeting, or other marketing cookies. The Site does not run targeted advertising and does not share information with advertising networks.
How to manage cookies.
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking cookies, deleting cookies, or being notified when cookies are set. If you block or delete the strictly necessary cookies described above, some features of the Site (most importantly form submissions) will not work.
Browser-specific instructions:
Do Not Track.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no consistent industry standard for how operators should respond to DNT signals. Because the Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, our cookie practices are already aligned with the spirit of DNT, and we treat visitors with DNT signals the same as visitors without.
Changes to this policy.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we add cookie categories that require consent in your jurisdiction, we will request that consent through a clear notice on the Site.
